No concession for India in transit trade accord: FO No concession for India in transit trade accord: FO ISLAMABAD: Foreign Office spokesperson Abdul Basit on Thursday said Indian elements remain present in Balochistan and Fata.

Basit said the interior ministry had evidence to prove the presence and will make a sovereign decision of who to share it with.

He said India had not requested for the evidence as yet and added that such a highly sensitive issue would not be conducted through the media.

India’s demands regarding the Mumbai attacks before returning to the negotiating table are untenable as true dialogue does not come with preconditions, Basit said.

This is a sign that India is not serious about restoring peace in the region, he said.

The Kashmir issue’s resolution is key to peace in South Asia, he added.
